Veteran actress Whoopi Goldberg doesn't want to marry again because she likes living on her own.
The 60-year-old, who has been down the aisle three times in the past -- in 1973 to footballer Alvin Martin, 1986 to Cinematographer David Claessen, and 1994 to Lyle Trachtenberg -- is not interested in marrying anyone even though her last marriage ended in 1995, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I'm much happier on my own. I can spend as much time with somebody as I want to spend, but I'm not looking to be with somebody forever or live with someone. I don't want somebody in my house," Goldberg told the New York Times magazine.
Asked if she'd always felt that way, she added: "Yes. I'm the round peg, and marriage is the square hole. You can't have a square hole, can you?"
The "Ghost" star has spoken openly in the past about battling drug addiction, but now she smokes marijuana purely for medicinal purposes.
"There's a big difference. If I want to get high, I can go do that at any time. It's about treating my (eye condition) glaucoma," she said.
