Arko Pravo Mukherjee, who has written, composed and sung the song "Dariya" for "Baar Baar Dekho", says the track is special to him for the range it has.
"'Baar Baar Dekho' is the most versatile project out of my recent projects, namely 'Rustom' and 'Kapoor and Sons'. It is a movie which deals with time travel. It is quite a different concept for a Hindi movie," Arko told IANS.
"The song 'Dariya' has the highest range and is very special to me as this is the first song that I signed with (filmmaker) Karan Johar and his banner Dharma Productions.
"He loved the song and insisted that I sing it. There is barely any change in the song from what it was when it was just a scratch. The composition, lyrics and the voice remain the same," he added.
The film, which is set to release on September 9, is Nitya Mehra's directorial debut and features Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
Earlier, Arko has worked on music for films "Kapoor and Sons" and "Rustom".
