Actress Ileana D'Cruz, who seems to be extremely choosy with her roles, says she would never beg for roles at any point of time.
"I have been lucky to be in Bollywood industry but it's all about opportunity here. If you do get an opportunity, it's up to you whether you take it or not. If you are good, you sustain, and if you are not you end your career," Ileana told IANS.
"But I think I have done pretty well for myself and I can say that with a lot pf pride. I am who I am today because of my hard work and I haven't asked for favours from anyone. I will never beg for roles as I have my dignity," she added.
Ileana kick-started her career in Bollywood with the critically acclaimed film "Barfi!", then she went on to do films including "Phata Poster Nikhla Hero", "Rustom" etc.
While she has the image of a girl next door onscreen, in real life she says she is brutally blunt and a starlight forward person.
"I have always been brutally blunt but I have been caught into the social media scene recently. I think people will see a more frank side of me because it's coming directly from me. I like it because I want people to understand what they see on screen is a character. What I am is you are going to see on social media," said the 28-year-old.
"They misunderstand me so many times but it's part of life. I am quite blunt and straight forward," she added.
