Indian IT bellwether Wipro Ltd reported net profit of Rs.2,193 crore for the third quarter of fiscal 2014-15, registering nine percent year-on-year (YoY) growth as per the Indian accounting standard.
In a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges Friday, the global software major said its total revenue for the quarter under review (Q3) grew 6 percent YoY to Rs.11,993 crore.
Under the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), net income for the quarter was up $348 million and gross revenue to $1.9 billion.
Revenue from its IT services business grew 7 percent YoY to $1,795 million, a sequential growth of 1.3 percent from second quarter.
