A woman was arrested Friday for strangling her husband to death, said police Saturday.
Sudha Chandra, 28, wife of Indian Air Force sergeant Ramesh Chandra, 40, was arrested Friday after she confessed, while being questioned, that she had strangled her husband to death April 10 at her house with the help of her juvenile paramour.
She had earlier cooked up a story that her husband had died of a heart attack.
Sudha's juvenile paramour was also apprehended in the murder case and sent to a juvenile home here.
The deceased resided with his wife and their four-year-old daughter at a government quarter provided by the Indian Air Force in Subrato Park area here.
