Vani Kapoor carded two-over 72 in the third and final round to manage a one-stroke victory over Amandeep Drall in the fifth leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club here Friday.

This is Vani's third win in five appearances this season. She collected a three-day total of one-over 211, one stroke clear of rookie Amandeep, who Friday scored 71.

Overnight leader Kiran Matharu dropped to third as she had a poor day, scoring five-over 75.

Order of Merit leader Vani had an indifferent start and carded three bogeys on the fifth, sixth and ninth holes with a lone birdie on the eighth in her front nine.

However, the Delhi youngster played with much more control in the latter half, dropping just one shot on the 15th, while carding a birdie on the 10th. She finished with a total score of 211.

Panchkula's Amandeep continued her impressive run as she took the second spot with a total score of 212. She carded two late birdies on the 16th and 18th to jump ahead of Kiran.

Amandeep also carded a bogey on the 11th with a double-bogey on the seventh to finish with a score of 71.

Kiran had an off day on the park. She played a birdie-less round of five-over 75 with bogeys on the third, 11th, 12th, 16th and 17th. She finished with a total score of 213, two strokes clear of Sharmila Nicollet.

Bengaluru golfer Sharmila carded four birdies on the first, fourth, 10th and 12th -- maximum by any player on the day.

However, bogeys on the seventh, ninth, 11th and 14th along with a double-bogey on the 13th marred her scoreline and she returned with a card of 72 on the final day.

Chandigarh's Saaniya Sharma scord 70 to claim the fifth spot with a total score of 220, followed by veteran Smriti Mehra and Delhi's Gauri Monga, who finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
