Indian shooters took bronze in the women's 25m Pistol event on the fourth day of the ISSF Junior World Cup here.

The Indian women's team of Sanjana Sehrawat, Chinki Yadav and Gauri Sheoran shot a total of 1695 to walk away with the bronze medal on Wednesday evening.

Russian Federation won the gold medal with a total of 1708 points while Germany had to settle for the silver medal with a total of 1698 points.

Despite this medal, there was no change in India's place in the medal's tally and they are still placed at number three with a total of 10 medals which include three gold, four silver and three bronze medals.

Italy top the medals tally with six gold, two silver and one bronze while the Russian Federation is at number two with four gold, six silver and seven bronze medals.

The third place finish by the women's 25m Pistol team was the only high point for Indian shooters on the day as they could not manage to finish on the podium in the other events.

The Indian teams in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions event, women's Skeet and women's Trap events were unfortunate not to manage a podium finish.
