New Delhi, April 21 (IANS) Virender Sewhag, who broke Delhi Daredevils' six-match losing streak with an unbeaten 95, said it were the words of advice from West Indies legend Viv Richards before the encounter against Mumbai Indians that helped him Sunday.
Richards, who has just joined Daredevils in an ambassadorial role, told Sehwag that a batsman, even if he is out of form, should try to bluff the bowlers by showing that he is confident.
"Viv Richards also spoke about bluffing. He said even if a batsman feels scared inside he should show that he is confident," said Sehwag.
Sehwag said the wind finally favoured Daredevils.
"You could say the wind favoured Delhi today. We were focused on training hard, on our fitness. When I'm batting well, I try to control the match," he said.
Richards' presence in the Daredevils team was the highlight of Sunday's win. The legend took part in the team huddle and chatted for a while with Sehwag and other youngsters.
