Workers of Munjal Showa, the ancillary company of Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), Friday held down production after four workers were allegedly attacked by management's goons.

Narender, Anand, Sushil Rana and Meghraj were admitted to a private hospital in Palam Vihar, where Narender's condition was stated to be serious.

"The goons and some workers attacked us on the company premises. It was all done to divert the main issue of our demand notice submitted a few days back," All India Trade Union Congress Gurgaon general secretary Anil Pawar told IANS.

"We will keep production on hold in Udyog Vihar plant and a meeting will be held in Gurgaon Sunday to hold production of the three plants at Munjal Showa," he said.

The company has its plants at Udyog Vihar, IMT Manesar and Haridwar.
