Actor Jagapathi Babu, who is sharing screen space with superstar Vijay in the upcoming yet-untitled Tamil project, says the association has rekindled some old memories, making him nostalgic.
"It's a lovely feeling to be working with Vijay. Our fathers had collaborated on several southern projects. It's our turn to finally join hands and it feels very nostalgic," Jagapathi Babu told IANS.
In the project, Jagapathi Babu plays the antagonist.
Talking about working with Vijay, he said: "It is such a moving moment for me, as history is being repeated in this era in this way. I am so excited to be a part of this project. Acting with Vijay is such a delight, he is so humble. He is a dedicated and very intense actor, and I am hopeful my chemistry with him onscreen will be loved by the audience".
The movie is being directed by Bharathan and bankrolled by producer Venkatram Reddy, son of B. Nagi Reddy of the famous Vijaya Vauhini Studios.
Interestingly, Jagapathi's father and late filmmaker V.B. Rajendra Prasad is a close friend of B. Nagi Reddy.
