Actor Nikhil Siddhartha, fresh of the success of Telugu romantic thriller "Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada", says he is ready to explore opportunities in Tamil filmdom.
"I was supposed to enter Tamil industry with 'Karthikeya', which was simultaneously made as a bilingual. However, the Tamil version still hasn't released for reasons unknown. Whenever I go to Chennai, people refer to me as the guy holding a spade from the poster of 'Karthikeya'. It feels nice to get noticed," Nikhil told IANS.
Keen to explore more opportunities in Tamil, he said, "I'm in the process of stabilizing my career in Telugu. I wouldn't want to jeopardize it at any cost. But if there's any interesting Tamil project, I would love to do it."
How much Tamil does he know?
"I'm picking up the language. I know a few words already. My phone's caller tune features a Tamil song," he said.
