Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki claimed her first trophy of 2017 beating Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the Tokyo Open final on Sunday.
The World No.6 defending champion defeated her Russian rival, World No.23, with a score of 6-0, 7-5 in one hour and 13 minutes, reports Efe.
"It feels great to have won the title," Wozniacki said after her victory.
"It was really important for me to get there and just stay focused and aggressive and positive," she added.
This trophy is Wozniacki's 26th WTA singles title and her 21st on hard court.
Wozniacki, who also lifted the trophy of Tokyo Open in 2010 and 2016, maintains an important streak with at least one title a season since 2008.
