A 19-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping into River Yamuna Monday evening, police said.
Rohit, 19, ended his life by jumping into the river from DND flyover, which connects Noida with south Delhi.
"Rohit, a resident of New Friends Colony in south Delhi, was working in a private company," said a senior police official.
Police said that he killed himself due to some family reason, but added that no suicide note was recovered till now.
A call regarding the incident was received at 4.35 p.m. and two fire tenders were rushed to the spot for his rescue, said an official of Delhi Fire Service.
