Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane led the third training session of the week with the participation of the full squad on Thursday, in preparation for next Saturday's match against Deportivo La Coruna, which will be Zidane's first game as the Los Blancos' chief tactician.

The club noted on its official website that Zidane "was able to call on a full squad for a session in which the ball took centre stage", reports Efe.

On Wednesday, captain Sergio Ramos trained indoors but on Thursday, the Spain defender was back to full training, as did Gareth Bale.

Real Madrid's junior team players -- Marcos Llorente, Borja Mayoral and Martin Odegaard, were included in the training session on Wednesday but Zidane on Thursday oversaw the training only of the senior squad that foucused on the next match.

The intense training session laid on by Zidane got underway with a warm-up out on the training field, after which the goalkeepers split off to work separately.

The Whites' players then completed various possessions, attacking transition and shooting drills.

The Frenchman is seeking to repair the 2-2 setback against Valencia during the last round in La Liga, and will attempt to get back on the right track to regain the team's ability to compete for the championship title.

Real are currently third in the league's standings with 37 points, two points behind FC Barcelona, who have played a game less, and four points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
