Journalists are used to being offered freebies at media events which most of them politely decline. But this one is going to be a hair-raising experience — literally. Jawed Habib Hair & Beauty Ltd, which is launching the country’s and South Asia’s first salon at Mumbai's domestic airport, has called a press conference on Friday, where four hairstylists will “groom all journalists present at the event so that they can get a first-hand experience of the services that are being offered at the airport”. The salon chain says the grooming session for journalists is also to celebrate the occasion, as it had to wait for five years before getting security clearance for the project. The concept is “groom and go”, targeted at travellers only.
