Indian drug companies may have failed to impress US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) officials inspecting their domestic manufacturing factories but visiting US FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg seems to have been struck by the "fresh mangoes, bananas and other native fruits" that she said she saw on the roads during her visit to the capital. At least, this is what she recorded in a blog, leaving Indian readers to wonder where she saw mangoes in the Delhi winter. Perhaps she mistook the bright seasonal oranges for the monsoon fruit.
