Looks like the issue of rampant drug use in Punjab will be the key plank on which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will pitch its campaign for the Assembly polls in the state due in 2017.
Addressing a gathering this week, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal launched a Punjabi music video, Ek Nasha: Nashe ke Khilaf, written by AAP leader Kumar Vishwas and aimed at weaning people of the state away from drugs and, of course, the ruling combine of the Shiromani Akali Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Kejriwal said the two parties had "ruined" every household in the state through "corruption" and the "drug menace".
