Kingfisher Airlines may be desperately waiting for a lifeline from its lenders. And leading banks may be making all sorts of noises. But Kingfisher’s sister concern United Breweries has no such problems with liquidity. In fact, it has enough liquid-ity to sponsor a summit of international bankers in Mumbai that began on Tuesday. The banking summit even had a stall labelled UB group, though it was not manned.
