Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury and Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav were walking towards the Parliament canteen when someone asked if Yadav was paying for the snacks. Yadav looked at his pocket and said, “I have to see if I have change. I think I only have Rs 1,000 notes.” Yechury was quick to quip, “Guys, don’t miss the most important point. Mulayam Singhji still has Rs 1,000 notes even after Amar Singh has left the party!”
