And now 'putpockets'

Even pickpockets know the biggest holes in their victims’ pockets have been caused by the economic crisis. So, according to a Reuters report, 20 former pickpockets are now putting money back into people’s pockets. Since they don’t want the gratitude usually associated with such charity, they are doing this the way they used to take money out in the first place — surreptitiously. Okay, so here’s the truth:

They are not doing this with the money they stole, but with money provided by a broadband service provider which says it wants to cheer up people in unusual ways. If you want to be part of the lucky lot who get 'putpocketed' in London, you have to be there before August 31. A hundred thousand pounds are to be given out in this manner and the London police have been briefed. Can’t be put in jail for helping someone, right?
