Much has been made of the leaking roofs in sports stadia in Delhi but Parliament House is no better. The monumental building, a reminder of the British commonwealth, plays host to the country’s most powerful people but had water seeping through to the press gallery on Thursday. The problem was so acute that reporters had to vacate seats in the first row of the Lok Sabha gallery — that too during question hour, which was, ironically, dominated by questions on the country’s infrastructure.
