Are Kamal Nath and Peter Mandelson friends now?

Commerce Minister Kamal Nath and UK Secretary for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Lord Peter Mandelson have traditionally been on opposite sides of the table at most international fora. That’s since Mandelson was,till recently, Trade Commissioner for the EU and India opposed most of the demands raised by him. At the CII Partnership Summit, however, they shared the dais and, after his address, Mandelson left to attend another function. Nath took a dig at him saying, “Usually, he and I are at the opposite side of the table. But today, we are on the same side. However, as I speak, he left without hearing my opinion.”
