Assisted delivery

Indian Oil Corporation had a press conference to announce the launch of its SMS facility for booking LPG cylinders. Petroleum Minister Murli Deora was quickly registered as a consumer to demonstrate how the service worked and he sent an SMS ordering a refill. Immediately, his cell phone buzzed and an automated SMS reply said “your refill has been delivered”. Show over, you’d say. Except, the junior minister Jitin Prasada called the toll free number to say, “Make sure the cylinder reaches 65, Lodhi Estate (Deora’s residence).”
