Business Standard New Delhi
Days after angry homeowners of the Amrapali Sapphire project in Noida, on the outskirts of Delhi, took to social media to lodge their protests, India's most successful cricket team skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, said the builder must deliver on its promises.

The complaints went viral on Twitter as residents tagged Dhoni, the brand ambassador of Amrapali, in their tweets asking the cricketer to stop endorsing the brand or force the company to ensure completion of pending work. They complained that their demands were not addressed by the builder, which forced them to tag Dhoni with #AmrapaliMisuseDhoni.

After the storm on social media and Dhoni's reaction, the Amrapali management promised that it would address the concerns of the residents and complete the pending work in 90 days.
