From this year the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin to use a video conferencing facility from the BJP headquarters in Delhi. The initial plan is to connect with only 10 state governments and state BJP offices and by the end of 2011, the plan is to connect with at least 20 states. To make the lives of the BJP state units worse, Party President Nitin Gadkari will also review the performance of each of the state units every three months. Senior leaders also suggest that a “report card” of their performance be maintained in Delhi.
