Blame it on Congress

Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee who skipped Jyoti Basu’s funeral is blaming the Congress leadership for this. It appears she wanted to accompany Congress chief Sonia Gandhi but the Special Protection Group which handles Gandhi’s security had reservations on Banerjee accompanying the Congress chief. For reasons best known to her, Banerjee chose not to go on her own.
