Born to the job

Even those who don’t agree with him must admit that CPI(M) General Secretary Prakash Karat is completely sincere. So, on his birthday this year, Karat spent around five hours at a seminar aimed at showing solidarity with Palestine; last year, Karat held a press conference on the Indo-US nuclear deal on his birthday. When some of those at the seminar pointed this out, Karat laughed. “This shows the fight against imperialism is going on, and nothing much has changed in my life!”
