The only thing that is working overtime in and around Raisina Hill and the government bhavans in these last days of the current United Progressive Alliance is the paper shredder, according to a senior official. That's because bureaucrats, perhaps sensing a change of regime, are beginning to dispose of untended papers and unimportant documents and files accumulated over the decade the UPA has been in power. Apparently, there is so much paperwork that office peons and attendants are also being roped in to help with the sorting.
