That headline should have read: Buy a ticket when Air India opens a refurbished booking office and get a return ticket free. On Monday, Syed Haroon Basha walked into the airline's new office in Bengaluru to book a ticket amid the first-day commotion.
Just when the booking formalities got over, Basha received a call from none other than Air India chairman Ashwani Lohani congratulating him for being the first one to buy a ticket on the new premises. And guess what, he would get a return ticket free. As they say, being at the right place at right time pays.
