Camel in the tent

At the All India Newspaper Editors’ Conference, held recently in Srinagar, Union New and Renewable Energy Minister Farooq Abdullah started criticising the government’s policies and programmes. Apart from Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni, Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was also on the dais. Omar was asked to remind his father that, since he was a part of the government, it didn’t look nice for him to be criticising it in public. The junior Abdullah managed to send a chit to his father but Farooq Abdullah kept it aside without even seeing it. After finishing his fiery speech, Farooq Abdullah took the chit, read it and came to Omar to ask him, “What did you write on this paper?”
