For those eagerly awaiting their unique identification cards, there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is that Nandan Nilekani, the incharge of the project, is relocating to New Delhi from July 15. The bad news is that he will be operating out of Vigyan Bhavan, from the now-dismantled office of the Justice Liberhan Commission which took 17 years to give its report. The Jain Commission, which also occupied the building, took more than seven years to give its report on the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. Can Nilekani break the curse? Watch this space.
