The ostensible reason for the Congress’ just concluded “Chintan Shivir” in Jaipur was to discuss the party’s strategy for the forthcoming state and general elections. But a big part of the strategy is also to frame a strategy to counter Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s growing clout in national politics.
