Rahul Gandhi may have had a preview of Ram Vilas Paswan’s son Chirag’s maiden film Miley Naa Miley Hum, but many viewers in the Lok Janshakti Party leader’s home state of Bihar may not get to see it owing to political rivalry. As a result, the distributor who held 60 per cent of the distribution rights in the state is believed to have backed out at the last moment from screening the film, which was supposed to launch Chirag’s political career. So, the first few days of its release saw theatres in only 17 of Bihar’s 34 districts screening the movies (in capital Patna only two theatres of the more than 12 showed the movie). Last heard, a compromise was being worked out to release the movie in more theatres.
