It was a regular day for Didi after the Assembly poll results were declared on Thursday. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee did not make a trip to a temple nor did she host a party to celebrate the Trinamool Congress' massive win in the election.
In the evening all those people who dropped in at the party office had to be content with muri (puffed rice) and a choice of three varieties of tea - regular tea, black tea and tea with milk but no sugar.
But party members did not complain as they hung around to make their presence felt. The announcement of a new Cabinet might take place next Friday.
