It seems the Narendra Modi government's 'business friendly' positioning is becoming increasingly tough to defend. One early attack came from Nikesh Arora, the vice-chairman of Softbank - the biggest private equity investor in e-commerce this year. Arora tweeted this on Saturday: "Doing business in India :(, not going to get better if they don't fix the basics. 2 hrs at airport - unhelpful immigration." He then added, "Asked the AFRRO (Airport Foreigners Regional Registration Officer) for help - he must be having a bad day.... Met nicer airport staff in 50 airports in my life."
