While speculation is rife about a tie-up between the Congress and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) for the Assembly polls in West Bengal, the two parties are rivals in Kerala, which also goes to polls. But now, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has threatened to travel to Kerala to “expose the nexus” between the two parties. “Let them think about Kerala first,” she said. “I have decided to go to Kerala and expose the nexus between them.” In Kerala it will be a one-day poll; in West Bengal the polls will be held in six phases this year.
