Andhra Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy intends to network with the public through Facebook, according to a press release from his publicity officer. But his grand plan has come up against a snafu: someone else has opened a page in his name on the social networking site. The page, the publicity officer informs us, “has been opened by certain private individuals without the knowledge of the chief minister. Neither the chief minister nor the state government subscribe to it”. But the question doing the rounds is: since when has a chief minister joining Facebook become an official initiative?
