Once a peculiar phenomenon with government websites, many always-up-to-date corporate houses still have outdated information on their sites. A case in point is the corporate website of one of the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturers. It still has the old details of the corporate communications cell and the public relations executives’ contact numbers and email IDs. On being given a call, the public relation executive said she had left the company three years ago, and the corporate communications executive grinned that it had been a year since he quit. He added that he even got calls from customers with queries about the company’s two-wheelers.
