According to Reuters, nearly 30 per cent of Americans reported that the recession had hurt their relationships / marriages as compared to 23 per cent of Canadians, 24 per cent of the French and 12 per cent of Germans. “Whether it’s at home, in the boardroom or in the car showroom, people around the globe are affected by the recession,” Arkadi Kuhlmann, the president of ING Direct USA, which commissioned the poll, told the news wire.
