Reports have implied that Veerappa Moily is unhappy with the Congress leadership for shifting him to corporate affairs from the more prestigious law ministry. So the first thing he did at his press briefing after taking charge of this new ministry at 9 a m sharp was to refute the rumours. He told reporters he considered corporate affairs, “the ministry of the future” and was certain that he was considered for this post because the political leadership knows he has always been a “reformist”.
