God's hand

Not everyone thinks it was the Gandhis who brought the UPA back to power. Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahmed in the last government, who has been re-elected on the Muslim League ticket from Kerala, believes it was God who did it. He told a meeting of the new MPs of the UPA that he had gone on a pilgrimage to Mecca and Madina to pray for the victory of the UPA. “My prayers have been answered … we are all here today thanks to the blessings of Allah.
