Social media isn't very kind to losers. After the party's drubbing in the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) became the butt of most Twitter jokes. A wise guy wondered what the BJP brass would do on Matru-Pitru Diwas, or the rebranded (by Chhattisgarh's BJP-led government) Valentine's Day. It would also be the day when Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal takes oath as Delhi chief minister. Another posted a mock conversation between Narendra Modi and prospective voters: "Modi asks the crowd: Kisko vote dogey? The crowd responds: AAP ke liye, sarkar." Varun Grover, a scriptwriter with some popular TV shows, teased former AAP member Shazia Ilmi, who joined the BJP just before the polls: "Shazia Ilmi jumped from a lifeboat to a sinking ship." Shobhaa De added her bit: "An ordinary man's extraordinary victory! And he did it without a monogrammed suit!"
