At the Khajuraho investors’ meet, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and other BJP politicians were at their flowery best. “You don’t need any other window to invest in Madhya Pradesh. I am the single window. Come to me,” he declared. Industries Minister Kailash Vijayavargiya went a step further. He claimed so many wanted to attend the investors’ meet that the government had to turn away about 100 industrialists. Sushma Swaraj, who has been elected to the Lok Sabha from MP, said the state was the heart of India. “You have to invest here to take good care of India’s heart!”
