Hero in death

Rifleman Vijay Singh, who died in a road accident the other day, managed to save three people while doing so. The family of the ex-serviceman donated the brain-dead Singh’s liver to a 15-year old boy, and one kidney each to two persons. His eyes were donated to two other persons. With this, the Army Hospital in the capital conducted its 17th liver transplant, a record for any institution in the country.
