Where do we stand in our fraught relations with Beijing, after the two-day Modi-Xi summit-fest in Wuhan at the end of April 2018? The summit was a success, with “informality” the keyword. Thus, no formal concluding statement published. No presser by the leaders either. One consequence, surely intended: Scaling back public expectations.
