In BJP, I am the best

Its vote share may be dwindling, but the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) still faces a problem of plenty in some areas. It has seven spokespersons at the headquarters and there is an undeclared competition among them as to who is the best. The party also finds it difficult to allot them press conferences.

But now, it seems Tarun Vijay — the former editor of RSS mouthpiece Panchjanya and a Rajya Sabha MP at present — has emerged as the most press-savvy. He has not just learnt the tricks of TV but also emails the content of his press conferences to journalists after his briefings. This helps him avoid distortions and makes journalists’ work easier.
