Looks like Prakash Javadekar, who is in charge of the ministries for environment and forests as well as information and broadcasting, is looking for inspiration outside the Bharatiya Janata Party. Taking a leaf out of the swaraj rule-book of former Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, Javadekar has said he will go to the people to seek ideas to communicate the good work done by these two ministries under his aegis. Crowdsourcing ideas, or tapping the collective knowledge of consumers, is gaining in popularity in product development and in marketing, and will definitely be welcomed by the new government working overtime to bring in austerity in governance in these tough times.
