Arvind Kejriwal, the man who virtually led the battle for Lok Pal alongside Anna Hazare, has gone far from the hustle and bustle of the crowd and media frenzy for some introspection. He has been attending a course in Vipassana meditation, which lasts for a few days and requires the participants to remain cut off from the outside world, their cell phones and computers, devoting themselves to meditation and prayers. The Magsaysay award-winning activist was last heard arguing with his former employers, the Income Tax Department, as to why he should not be asked to pay back the salary he had received when he took a study leave many years ago. He was accused of violating the contract which demanded that he should return to work and not take leave if his salary was not to be cut.
