After Mamata Banerjee presented her railway Budget, many visitors poured in her office in Parliament to congratulate her. Among them was Banerjee’s predecessor, Lalu Prasad. But Prasad had more important things on his mind than the rail Budget. He had come to request Banerjee for an extension for one of his relatives who is holding a temporary job in the railways. Although Banerjee is known to be friendlier to Nitish Kumar, she nevertheless obliged and asked her officials to process the matter urgently. While, many MPs from Bihar were unhappy with the railway Budget, Prasad left Parliament as a happy man.
