BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has been able to pinpoint the reason why Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union president Kanhaiya Kumar is being wooed by the Congress and Communist parties. He said last week that both the Congress and the Communist parties had become leaderless and therefore they were seeing a leader in Kumar. Meanwhile, the two parties continue to send feelers to Kumar. While speaking to a news channel recently, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that his party won't have any problem if Kumar decided to join the grand old party. And as was widely reported, after the political storm triggered by Kumar's arrest, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury had said the student leader would campaign in Kerala and Bengal ahead of the Assembly elections in these states.
